God made us, we did not make ourselves. We are made for God’s purpose.

Apart from a relationship with Jesus Christ, our lives are never going to make sense, and what we go through will never make sense. We need Jesus. God’s plan for our lives must be spiritually discerned and we must be born again in order to discern God’s plan for us.

Intent: That we know our purpose.
Purpose: To renew our mind and change our behavior.
Goals: To change the priorities of our life.

Objectives:
1) God knows you
2) God knows the times.
3) Why God made us
4) Consecrating ourselves.
5) The power to be who you are.

Goal: That we would change the priorities of our lives.
Subtitle: God knows the seasons.

  1. God knows the seasons of your life.
As we go through the seasons of our lives, we have to trust that they are a work of God and that God is working in us. He is bringing change. God is preparing us for the next season. God knows your season and your season has value. But it it is not going to last. A season is an appointed time, a set time. The seasons of our lives are neither good or bad. We have to go through them. They are just seasons.
  2. a) God uses the seasons of our lives to facilitate our growth.
God see’s the big picture, and there are things down the line that we need to go through in order to be ready for where He wants us to go.
  3. b) God uses the seasons of our lives to show us things to come.
God shows us things we need to do now, in order to prepare us for the next season.
  4. c) God uses the seasons of our lives to prepare us for what is next.
God has an eternal view of who we are and what He wants us to be. His grace is for our weaknesses and to take us through the seasons. His grace is His favor, His power, and His strength.

Each season that we go through in life has value and purpose. Seasons of adversity and prosperity; they don’t last forever. We must trust that the seasons of our lives are a work of God and that God is working in us. God wants us to take wisdom out of every season in order to prepare for the next season. God gives us the grace that we need for every season and we must trust and obey through every season.
